FreeTips is always looking for talented sports writers and analysts to contribute tips, analysis, and editorial content. We are primarily interested in contributors with genuine expertise in a specific sport or betting market — not generalists who write about everything.
Strong candidates will have: deep knowledge of at least one sport and its betting markets; experience with statistical analysis and betting strategy; the ability to write clearly and accessibly for a betting-literate audience; an understanding of responsible gambling principles; and ideally an existing track record of tips or betting analysis (even informal/social media).
All content must meet our editorial standards: factually accurate with cited sources; written to a high standard of English; original (not republished from elsewhere); compliant with responsible gambling guidelines; free from conflicts of interest or undisclosed relationships with bookmakers.
We do not publish content from contributors who accept payment from bookmakers for editorial coverage. Contributors must disclose any relationships with betting operators before writing about them.
We pay competitive rates per article based on content type, depth, and the contributor's level of experience. Rates are discussed during the application process. Regular contributors may be offered a retainer arrangement. We do not accept guest posts in exchange for links only ("link insertion" pitches will not be considered).
